I've raised FOUR amazing kids who are all self-sufficient and goal-oriented. They all have families of their own, and I'm proud of every one of them. Now I need to work on the grand-babies. LOL

The ONE thing I "pounded" into their minds from the time they were old enough to speak is this:

"Everything that happens to you in life, is a direct result of the CHOICES YOU HAVE MADE !! Choose well, because you will live with the consequences of your choices - good & bad" !!

....and I've never once heard any of them blame their shortcomings or mistakes on anyone else.

The other thing that I stress was, "Always have a plan...and maybe plan A & plan B (because shit happens) - without a plan, things seldom work out."
