Just like they were trained to do. EMTs were called around 2:40 while he was still kicking at them and screaming you can also see him lift his head up and turn it from side to side with the knee on it.

I just wish they were not trained to put a knee on the neck, but one on the back can kill so I don’t know what should have been done.

What i would of done ...once in the car....i would of Tazed him...and took him to the ER ....STAT....

Floyd did not have a bumped noggin, he had enough drugs to be a dead man walking. He was going to die, even if he encountered his mommy. Not even certain the ER could have done anything for him.

That, coupled with COVID, and looks like he was a heavy smoker too.

Could it be because they trained cops to use that position?

Agree. What’s sad in all of this is that i can remember cops back in the day that were violent and racist. And not to say that there aren’t any now but there’s certainly a lot of reforms and legal protections for people that weren’t they are back then. So while the visual of this is really hard to look at with the white cops knee on the black man’s neck, it’s not fair for this cop to pay for the sins of those cops.

The Floyd “Family” should have to give back that $25 M wrongful death payout.....The police were not responsible for his death.

And the OD was why he “couldn’t breathe” even before they put him on the ground outside of the patrol car. Also why he made statements about how he was going to die, I think he knew he was a dead man and the police had no idea he had taken fentanyl. Another thing people don’t know is that he didn’t die on the street under the knee of a racist cop(knee was on his shoulder as per training) but rather in the ambulance on the way to the hospital....blocks away from the scene.
