And to an extent it doesn't fucking matter because the health of the stock market has nothing to do with the health of the economy.

I'll point out a local example from my area which indicates what's REALLY GOING ON ECONOMICALLY under biden.

When I would go to the local carl's junior in December and even January the we're hiring sticker in the drive up window was consistently saying $13/hr starting pay because if they offered any less NO ONE would apply!

By the middle of February that starting rate had dropped to $12/hr.

When I went there last week it was now down to $11/hr.

In that same time interval regular unleaded gas went from $1.89 right before Christmas to $3.68 yesterday.

So in two.months biden has managed to drive waves down well over 10% while all but DOUBLING the price of gas!

That's not a win by any metric worth using.

Oh and did I mention that as of late December and into the first two weeks of January you could go into almost any shopping plaza and see help wanted signs in at least 60% of business windows?

Going to that same shopping plaza now there's 3 more empty suites from businesses that folded and at best 20% of the remaining open businesses have help wanted signs.

It's horrifying and almost unprecedented how fast and far wages are dropping, businesses are closing, and prices are going up.

This is not the sign of a healthy economy or a healthy government...

Two months is barely enough time for most presidents to affect things at all and yet somehow biden has already created an economic disaster and lack of confidence that's impossible not to notice.

I've also seen construction job sites where construction has slowed visibly and outright stopped which is an indication that the investors backing these projects have lost confidence to a degree where they'd rather eat the costs of construction they've already paid because they know they can't and won't recoup the money already spent either way!

We went from exuberant confidence and a roaring economy all the way back to the worst of Obama's second term in TWO MONTHS.

Can you even comprehend how bad things will be in 2 years if this is what two months looks like?

Trump had four years of all time highs. Biden may have another month...The great depression for all is coming to a market near you.

It's called Percent Gain. I know your type either can't or won't understand percentages. I see it every day, but that doesn't make them any less real or meaningful.

The charts are there for anyone to see at any time. I'll take the DOW as an example, but you can look at any of them for similar results. Since Biden's inauguration, the DOW has gone up 6%. Sure, it's at all time highs, but it was at all time highs before the election too.

In comparison, over the same 11 week period after Trump's inauguration, it rose 16.90% and went on to gain 48% over Trump's term and that includes the COVID crash.

Let's compare that to 0bama's economy.

After a 53% decline immediately following his inauguration, the DOW went on to rise 56%. This is the part where you puff out your chest and exclaim, "See! 0bama's economy was better than Trump's! He only got 48%! REEEEEEEE!" But then someone like me will come along and inform you that he had 8 years and barely exceeded Trump's gains over 4 years. Plus, there was no pandemic to ruin it for him. If not for the COVID crash, Trump would have handily exceeded in 1 term what 0bama could barely do in 2.

I look forward to your silence when Biden's economy crashes even further than the 53% fall that 0bama gave us.

He's collapsing the value of the dollar itself. When the currency collapses, prices skyrocket. I'll bump this thread 24 months from now, when oil, gas and food hit "ALL TIME HIGHS" and hyperinflation pushes us all into the "pay your fair share" tax bracket.

Also, the economy started to "miraculously" improve when Biden took over, and suddenly the riots stopped, PCR positivity rates plummeted, and lockdowns were eased. Almost like the collapse was engineered by the deep state all along...
