Night Vision Goggles - Recommendations Please
A more than a few years ago, somebody on GLP was recommending people use a night vision goggle to see things flying around in the sky at night.

I would like to purchase the best I can (ha ha) for under $200.00. Anybody have a link of something they have tried and liked or just recommend?

Thanks a bunch.

Thought this was interesting the other day. Not sure how much it is though... or where you could get it.

Here's What You Need to Remember: The BBG-011A is an interesting example of a Chinese military night vision unit on the civilian market. The unit is clearly a clone of the Thales LUCIE night vision goggles, a popular European NVG that has seen use with the German Bundeswehr and French Army.

Anything less than $2,500 is a gamble...

Nowadays, though, you can add a thermal imaging module to your cell phone for cheap.

Check out the FLIR ONE. Should be right up your alley and price point.

There's a few semi passable options in the $600 range but anything that costs less than that isn't worth it.
