one of the best predictions was in the late 1800s by a seer named Marie-Julie Jahenny(see 'Mystics of the church") who predicted civil unrest all over and the sign of the end beginning would be when Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris burnt. So strong and accurate was she that a holy card picturing this all happening and Jesus crying over the happenings on this earth was printed, and circulated to ask for prayers to hold it off.
