Terrible policing, so much evidence could have been tampered with, it seems like Officer Chang is out of his depth and allowing suspects to tamper or hide/stash evidence.

Yeah in some videos it looked like Floyd dropped stuff. Now it looks like Hall picked some things up or moved them.

There are other reasons, I had back surgery and standing still can be very painful but walking is not. When I go to the store with my wife and she stops to look at something I end up walking in circles around the area she is at. I also shift weight back and forth between my feet when standing in line to check out.

How do NONE of these cops not notice the obvious signs of drug impairment and say anything about it?

They saw it and noticed it. It actually shows how much cops will let minor drug charges slide, even against, or maybe especially against, minorities.

How did prosecutor not know about police training (park police with Minneapolis police) if he was going to ask these questions? Wow. Terrible.

The woman at the scene was obviously fucked up on something when she took the witness stand --

and the judge baby-talked her, trying to get her to take the 5th

Is this area of Minneapolis really high crime?

Maybe Chauvin kept his knee on his neck so that the crowd wouldn’t murder the cops.

Why didnt Chauvin hire a real fucking defense lawyer? One that that will ask the real questions, dive into the personal lives of these people and destroy every stupid thing the prosecution says

Nah. Take council’s recommendation. Cops know better than most people that you can’t talk your way out of things.

Nelson doesn’t waste time with drawn out, pointless questioning. The jurors may appreciate that. It looks like the prosecution is trying to make a case by piling on evidence. And jurors may not like feeling like their time is being wasted adding nothing to the story.

I think without the crowd distracting him Chauvin would have got up sooner.

He's looking at the crowd the whole time.

From a strictly legal view he doesn’t need to do anything. His defense just needs to raise doubt. And they’ve done that. But yeah, some jurors may want an explanation. I’d like to know what he was thinking.

I think people tend to overestimate their ability to use words to convince people. We often feel like if we say just the right thing we’ll win an argument or in this case a trial. My experience is the less said the better.
