In a world as messed up as it is now, why even confront someone in the streets if you're not going to actually "do" something about it. Just film it, and call the cops, or go over there and beat the fucker yourself quickly then run away. The soldier was a hothead and the black guy was looking to make $$$ from the drama and attention. We live in a world now where if you aren't being directly attacked and are legally allowed to use force, you're literally obliged to do nothing but call the police and walk away. The black guy knew that, which is why he didn't leave. The soldier did not. See something suspicious? Report it. See someone being assaulted? Report it and react. Unless there's true violence, why even get involved?
