I then did one meal a day and within a few weeks I was down to 152.... people didn’t recognize me, also since I dropped so much weight very quickly... but I started drinking hard this past year and gained it all back! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75903490 its all that SUGAR! it definitely packs weight on me fast. sugar is like the devil, its so good you just want more but its a KILLER. superfood for cancer and yeasts, etc..everything nasty loves that sugar. switch to honey and not the teddy bear jar honey, most of that stuff has added corn syrup. I completely agree, once that sugar hits the system, you’re constantly hungry and overeating, maybe binge eating, to feel satisfied. We all eat to die. |

Quoting: Coming Into Existence Sounds interesting Sugar Flour Is similar attributes as cocaine New foods of today’s societies. Remembering borax in bread in Victorian times lol The plant absorbs light energy radiation from the sun by chloroplasts producing free energy through a process called photosynthesis leading to photons to sugars to everything else a plant makes. All photo-chemicals are derived from glucose and photosynthesis is powered by the photons. Humans eat plants or animals that ate plants into the microbiome which then re-enters the food web where the plant grows. Quoting: flow of chi currents of earth Three things that hijack the brain is willpower, hunger, craving. Willpower is the fuel by brain glucose which is depleted every fifteen minutes. The two pulls is hunger and cravings and creates the willpower gap. Quoting: hijacked brainThe gene that makes the hormone, leptin, which is the crux of the pandemic. It is leptin resistance as to why insulin blocks the brain from seeing leptin so the signal gets lost. Insulin baseline levels have doubled since the 1970s. Insatiable hunger and cravings cause addictive behavior into the give and take reward mentality of energy exchanges. The motivation of an addictive hit floods dopamine receptors and gets blown out. They become less numerous and less responsive. The brain rewires in a depleted state to become restless and always in need to top off for balance. Synthetic drugs is the inner essence refined and purified which turns the harmless into the harmful. That makes sterile stagnant environment with no microbiome intake of diversity. What it does is it exponentially increases the surface area each molecule gets exposed to the digestive enzymes and the minute refinement gets flooded into the digestive system hitting hard and fast them impacting the insulin and brain dopamine rush. Not everyone is affected in the same way. The range of addictive susceptibility also varies by specific substances. Susceptibility means loss of feedback mechanisms. Solution: Clear non ambiguous boundaries. Taking control back of the brain to work in favor. The brain heals amazingly fast once one stops flooding it with the two pulls as it takes a load off the willpower gap. Training and implementing plans prep and support executing from the automatic action sequence of the brain becomes subconsciously done. Goes into all senses not just physical. Anonymous Coward User ID: 77580890 ![]() 04/19/2021 06:23 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Any way to cleanse plaque and calcium from coronary arteries ? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72821184 Im 53 years old and otherwise in good shape, but hereditary heart disease has already caused alot of buildup and needed a stent to open an 80% blockage of LAD. It is shown in the elderly that have really good clear hearts that the occasional glass of red wine and small portions of food(never really over indulging) with regular light cardio like walking, have never had heart issues such as plaque buildup no matter the emotional stress inflicting environmentally. Some English doctor confirmed this. He said, I hate to say this but the cleanest arteries I see are from alcoholics. I was doing that for a while, a glass or two of red wine with dinner. Probably helped but you lose energy drinking even a glass or two. Garlic is also supposed to help clean them out. I recommend the capsules because chewing raw garlic is a beast. And cooking garlic kills the medicinal properties. |

I think restricting protein can be important if you want to rebuild stem cells and restore the body. Valter Longo wrote a book about it called Fasting Mimicking Diet. You still eat but for 3-5 days a month you eat 700 calories and no protein. I’ve recently reduced it to 40 grams a day and feel so much better. |

I’m somewhat hungry, but not uncomfortably so. And my mind is fully alert. As alert as it’s going to get, anyway. Quoting: DancingThought That’s a good thing, because I’m about to explain the whys and hows of fasting in a way that, fingers crossed, actually makes sense. I’ll start with the benefits, and there are plenty of them. Then, once you’re feeling good about fasting, I’ll get into the science behind how it works. Autophagy and AMP-activated protein kinase are not only cool processes activated by fasting, but they’re also fun terms to drop in mixed company. Finally I’ll explain how ridiculously easy it is to incorporate fasting into your life. Then you can go forth and reap the benefits. Sound good? Cool. Why Should You Fast? The human body is an intricate machine honed over millions of years of hominid evolution. But unlike most machines in this age of technology, our beautiful bag of skin can actually repair itself. That is, if we know what levers to pull. Actually, it will try to do so without even any lever pulling. If you only give it a chance. But sure enough, it can be assisted in its efforts (BTW, it's not just a bag of skin... it's a lot more - blood, bones, lots of organs, muscles and "stuff", lots of yucky things and all of this together is as you are saying a beautiful whole keeping its own internal equilibrium). |

I completely agree, once that sugar hits the system, you’re constantly hungry and overeating, maybe binge eating, to feel satisfied. We all eat to die. There's a reason why corn syrup is added to most everything. Fructose induces the body to eat upwards of 30% more than it normally would otherwise. It's the reason additives are added to things. To keep your cravings high, and keep you coming back for more. It's a gimmick. IE. Coke use to be be in coke. Nicotine in cigarettes. Fructose in the foods. Etc, etc... |

Learn about each, and adopt what best works for you. Start small, then work your way into something a little more involving. You will feel things you've never experienced before, and magically, pains, aches, and lifelong issues may suddenly start to fade away. Once you've done it successfully, you'll probably want to keep repeating it throughout your life, because it's just that good. |
