There's A Reason Black People Act Ghetto

While I won't blame this generation of white people for the misdeed of their ancestors, we it has had a significant impact. Slavery ended in 1865 meaning ITS ONLY BEEN 156 YEARS SINCE SLAVERY ENDED.

That's pretty recent and while its true that things have gotten better, it didn't suddenly get better. Slavery began in 1619 and lasted 246 years meaning that historically they have been slaves longer than the have been free.

White Americans are the reason black Americans are ghetto and oppressed.

White Americans had a 246 year headstart during which black Americans were slaves and provided free labor. Then after 246 very profitable years black Americans finally began building themselves up, but even still it wasnt exactly an equal opportunity environment.

So black Americans have 156 years to build themselves up most of which were hampered due to racial inequality issues.
However White Americans have had 401 years to build theid communities during which time they had full civil liberties and 246 of those were the slave years.

So the cultural difference between whites and blacks is made clear. Whites are not superior nor are Blacks inferior. Both races are where they are today because of slavery, white americans owe their very prosperity to the slaves, and and black americans owe their poverty to the slavers.

96 percent of all whites and blacks in America had nothing to do with slavery.

Explain the lack of technological innovation in Africa. Also explain the multitude of failed governments and countries in Africa. Explain why the freed slaves, when given a country of their own...ie Haiti, Liberia etc almost always devolved into war, violence, anarchy and crushing poverty?

Now contrast white European society before mass immigration. Yeah there were a few stupid wars. But outside of that... there was prosperity, innovation and civility.

Where I grew up, we leased a meager home from a very wealthy woman who lived in a mansion that was similar to the white house, except probably larger and nicer.

There was one black person in the entire town and he lived next to us. He had been a slave. Jesse was his name. No last name. He was very happy working for this old wealthy woman and I would estimate his age at the time to be around 110 years old.

He still tended to her fields, trees, bushes, and massive floral garden. Overall, approx 40 acres of magnificent beauty. We were dirt poor, and lived in a crappy house, but lived in such a beautiful place it was hard to describe. Long needle pine trees taller than the books say they can get. A large oak tree that had a carpet of green moss under it so soft on bare feet it is hard to relate. And on the hottest days it would be cool and wonderful under that tree. FLowering trees everywhere. Dogwoods, Elderberries, and just about every form of bush or flower you can think of.

Jesse would work every day whistling and happy, mowing the grand fields, raking leaves onto bed sheets, trimming the bushes, etc.

My best friend and I would talk to Jesse and he was very friendly and just about the happiest and most content person I think I have ever met. He had a house not much different than ours, and obviously he had enough money for food, utilities, some basic clothing etc.

The wealthy old woman was my best friend's grandmother, so I spent time in their mansion playing with my friend. No air conditioning in that place, but in the summer the basement was very cool and comfortable beneath the 3 story high double bricked mansion. We put a ping pong table down there and it was a great place to be in the summer when you got hot from playing baseball or football.

The rich old lady would always brag about how wonderful Jesse was. Not sure if they were in love or what. She was married of course to some useless guy, and their progeny were all equally useless.

Jesse died when I was 8 and needing money, I took over his duties for 50 cents an hour. (child "protection laws" prevent an 8 year old kid from getting a minimum wage job anywhere). And when it came time to pay, she would complain that I was charging too much. Unbelievable.

Anyway, I did the job of this slave for less remuneration than he received, as I don't think 50 cents an hour would pay for rent on a house. :)

Obviously the emancipation act happened long before that time, but Jesse was content to remain doing the same thing, even though he was free to leave if he wished.

As I said, he was the only black person in town until years later when some idiot decided busing was the answer. I had moved away to college by then, but dad said all of a sudden, every white girl in the schools was pregnant with black kids, crime took off and the lovely little Norman Rockwell type town was ripped to shreds. The kids that were bussed in were the children of blacks that worked in the steel mills about 20 miles away. They were not slaves or even poor. Union steel workers made decent money.

My dad told me when he was still alive, that after the slaves were freed, a good many wanted to remain on the farms doing what they were doing. They had a decent life vs the unknown of fending for yourself.

The point is that there were also white people (like myself), that did the same work for perhaps less money.

There were also share croppers which is what my family did where my dad grew up. Poor is poor. Doesn't matter if you were black or white, they sharecropped.

And then there were the poor miners in W Virginia. They didn't get paid actual money, but "Scripp", which could be used only at the "company store". Again, didn't matter what race they were. They were working poor living in slave conditions.
Before we had all these marvelous machines, everything was done by manual or horse labor.
the old Tennessee Ernie Ford song "load sixteen tons and what do you get" was a song of their sorry situation there.
