Nobody pays the tax man anymore dipshit. Be smart about your Paypal transactions to not get a 1099K. Simple.

Re: Quit my 9 to 5 for eBay FULLTIME 1 month update
I've been doing it full time for about 3 years. I buy everything I sell from thrift stores. I sell vintage accessories, sterling silver jewelry sometimes gold and vintage electronics.

I do pretty good. There are ups and downs but nothing where I couldn't pay my bills.

It's also cool to go "treasure hunting" every day. There are so many things that people give away to thrift stores that are worth 100s and sometimes 1000s.

I've scored "holy grail" items.

I've scored shit that I wound up keeping.

I've honed my skills down where I can eyeball sterling silver. Lol.

I can eyeball silver too, used to love trolling the thrift stores, the really good one we had over here closed down and now the others charge so much more than they used to and are so picked over now from E-bay-ers :(

What was your holy grail item?

I don't sell, but thought about it. I bought a $200 purse for like $5 once, all leather, perfect condition, like brand new.

Also, scored a killer large pewter "fruit" bowl, 70s style for a $1, caught my eye, looked it up and at the time was worth $75.
