She is working on her Resume, she can get a job anywhere and she knows it. She is a great Employee.

It would be a major liability if my employer did this. I happen to be allergic to PEG, have high blood pressure and a family history of blood clots.

I feel embarassed posting medical info on an anonymous forum. I can't imagine how embarassing it would be to disclose that to an employer. Completely unethical.

Does she have any risk factors? If so, ask them to provide a reasonable accomodation.


She is O negative, and does have high blood pressure. Her chances of testing positive for Covid is 2.6%

But what then about all of these universities in snowball effect saying all persons on campus (students, professors, staff, all other jobs) must be vaccinated by opening day.

What they are doing at my job is asking people if they feel safe around the unvaccinated. They aren't legally allowed to ask if we have been but the are because they say they must know for everyone's safety. Its such passive aggressive bullshit.

This. If they fire you then you can sue. If you quit then you can’t. Forcing people to take a vaccine that isn’t approved (it is an energy use) seems to me very problematic.

I would be sad to leave my job because I love it and I'm good at it, but if it's between that and DYING, it's a no brainer. They'd lose a great employee.

Son in law just went through this.

He works for a electrical controls company that works on US ships and commercial ships . They have to work over seas sometimes. A big contract was coming up in Saigon and the employer required everyone to get the vaccine before going. He said no, not happening. Eventually they caved, saying he would have to quarantine for 2 weeks once arriving there. They still got the contract and he decided he wasn't going because he has a son that is 1 1/2 years old and would miss his sons second birthday. He gave them 2 weeks notice and already has a job lined out . I am proud of him because he chose his family over a job.

Have a contract drawn up to call their bluff.

In the contract, state that since the pharmaceutical companies have no liability for damages to your body and/or death, state that they will take up 100% of your upcoming medical bills and 100% paid salary for any time missed at work. If you are unable to work anymore, they pay you forever. If she dies, a multi-million dollar settlement.
