I happen to be allergic to PEG, have high blood pressure and a family history of blood clots. I feel embarassed posting medical info on an anonymous forum. I can't imagine how embarassing it would be to disclose that to an employer. Completely unethical. Does she have any risk factors? If so, ask them to provide a reasonable accomodation. Mandating a vaccine is like mandating eating pineapples. Some people just can't or they'll die, and they shouldn't have to disclose why. A Law firm should know better than this. HUGE LIABILITY. Any sickness or death this law firm will pay BIG TIME. |

A big contract was coming up in Saigon and the employer required everyone to get the vaccine before going. He said no, not happening. Eventually they caved, saying he would have to quarantine for 2 weeks once arriving there. They still got the contract and he decided he wasn't going because he has a son that is 1 1/2 years old and would miss his sons second birthday. There's plenty of people who have posted blanks online now and all she has to do is find a few from her area and fill in a believable lot number and date. Scan and send to HR. Done. There's no way her company will try to get access to her actual electronic medical records, most just want a photocopy of the card so they can check the box and get some discount from their insurance companies. |

The legal consensus, right or wrong, along with Federal guidelines, is that employers can require you to be vaccinated as condition of employment. Until that is challenged, that's pretty much it. If they are going to fire you, handing them this letter will not change anything. I would suggest an honest personal conversation with a manager or someone more senior if you have access, would be a better approach. I'm in WI, and we have a bill passed in the house, waiting for senate, that would prohibit companies from mandating it. Whether the governor signs (Democrat) or it can be overridden remain to be seen, but that's what I'd like to see more of. |

And send them a letter back saying that you cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons. They have no right to know these reasons under HIPPA. Tell them that if they continue to try to force experimental medical technology on you, as a condition of your job, that you will sue. Sometimes, I have found in life, threats are enough. Many businesses will cave over a letter. In the meantime talk to other employees and see if you can get a movement going. This shit has to be NIPPED IN THE BUD. And whatever you do, DON'T GET THAT FUCKING VACCINE NO MATTER WHAT. It very likely WILL kill you at some point and perhaps horribly. WE are in the right. |

OP, THIS is what you have to include. This is all about intimidation tactics. You have to make them AFRAID OF YOU. This is a good thing to give them. Tell them you object on medical grounds that they have no legal right to know and give them this statement that they would have to accept liability for any adverse reaction - or death - that happens to you. They will back down especially if you can get more people to join you. |
