What can you do to stop this BS. My daughter works for a Lawyer Firm that doesn't even see clients but was told today she had to get her Vaccine by May 15. What should she do? Quit or wait to get fired? Would love to hear what GLPer's have to say about this.

She should wait to be fired. If it were me, I would continue on until they come to her on the 15th and ask if she has been vaxxed.

I would hand the boss two documents, both found at this website: [link to www.freedomtaker.com (secure)] (scroll down to middle of page...two WORD documents, one about vaccine liability and the second, a list of reasons why the person holding the document will not take the vaccine. Both are very well written documents and the lawyers there should appreciate it. If she doesn't want to use the first, she should definitely use the second

I would make them type me a letter letting me go because I will not take the vaccine AND THEN TELL HER TO SIGN UP FOR PANDEMIC UNEMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE AND COLLECT $$ UNTIL SHE FINDS ANOTHER JOB. She doesn't need to be working for these bastards anyway.

I would NOT use that form. "You may not vaccinate me or my children. If you try, I will exercise my right to self-defense against you (and your accomplices) to the extent I deem necessary for the protection of myself and my family."

This is a joke. It goes on and on like that. I would not say this would help, only hurt.

The legal consensus, right or wrong, along with Federal guidelines, is that employers can require you to be vaccinated as condition of employment. Until that is challenged, that's pretty much it.

If they are going to fire you, handing them this letter will not change anything. I would suggest an honest personal conversation with a manager or someone more senior if you have access, would be a better approach.

I'm in WI, and we have a bill passed in the house, waiting for senate, that would prohibit companies from mandating it. Whether the governor signs (Democrat) or it can be overridden remain to be seen, but that's what I'd like to see more of.
