We have a talk show host here in the eastern panhandle of west Virginia who has been baiting his audience with the tale of his 80 something mother insisting to get down to the health department early so she doesn't miss out. Creepy as hell. There are a lot of retirees here who probably are falling for it.

OP said his friend didn't even mention the major issues with the vaccines to his his (the friend's) grandma.

If you have information about a potential health risk of something and don't at least share that information with your loved ones, then you're a piece of shit.

If the friend had at least told the grandma, and then she decided on her own to go ahead with the 'vaccine', then at least he did what he could do, and neither OP nor his friend would have any blame.

I mean she was the best nana I can remember from my childhood, always taking care of my crazy friend and getting him out of trouble.

You could have not been so deliberate when telling him if the side effects. Speak it as if you don't know what's going on just like him but you've heard bad things of the vaccine so be mindful of your choice. But you telling him blatantly that the vaccine will kill his grandma and then the rare % chance does come to fruition, you've now no longer got a friend.

My ninety year old Mother got the Pfizer vaccine after I had asked her to wait a few months and see how the other old people were doing. I even canceled the appointment once due to a lucky scheduling conflict.

I told her many times it was experimental and not tested on older folks.

Then her friend, also ninety, got her an appointment and they went off got vaccinated and told me after the fact.
