I cannot speak for others on this matter, but I myself do not get bored. There are many places to see and things to do on this planet. I also enjoy reading contemporary fiction. We have the same interests you do, we just have better access to them. Life without worry is predictable, but rarely boring.



Well exactly, sure I have 'distractions' sometimes with work, for the most part I daydream, read, listen to music...

You may be lucky enough to have nice bound volumes, but with the internet I have access to tens of thousands of classics.. I've been reading HGWells of all things, it's amazing given the framework of the time, but wouldn't new frontiers be far more exciting?

I'm not talking about jumping out of planes climbing mountains but really going places nobodies been, Anyone with a CC #, and a fake ID can rent hookers, have a lavish party but a truly unique experience requires an adventure.

In a way hasn't globalization killed real adventure as that it's just far too easy and safe to travel abroad? Not to mention everything has been mapped, tagged, and photographed? The best people can do is classify leaves and bugs... How boring.

There must be something to do...

I fear I'd grow *VERY* bored more so than I am now in your shoes...

We own control of money. This helps in creating happiness, but it is not a failsafe. There are stories of people within my organization throughout the ages that commit suicide. Boredom and lack of "self-importance" is something we cannot control.

We control monetary policy. There are other groups that control other aspects of Earth-based life. They continue to communicate with ETs for their own agenda. Although we no longer communicate with ETs in terms of advancing monetary policy, there are those within my organization that communicate for other reasons.
