Aenima. They jumped the shark with this new record. Suddenly becoming everyone's favorite band makes them somewhat repulsive... although I'm not sure they're entirely at fault.

I think they are unique in that the more arcane their subject matter and the more complex their music got, the more popular they became. They were more or less mainstream by the time Aenima arrived but I think it's a good bridge between their earlier and later material.

They use black mirror scrying to produce their songs.

All of fear inoculum was a prediction of things to come. Released August 2019 and every song tells of what is currently happening.

I think the videos for "Sober" and "Prison Sex" were brilliant illustrations of the concepts related by the lyrics. Some of the best music videos ever made because they add a third dimension to the songs themselves, which seems to me a rare thing.

I just bought a makita gas chainsaw for my apple trees, and it’s not a bad little saw. For tools, power wise, I’m a miluakee man myself.
