President Biden calls for peace in Northern Ireland - they've waited 800 years for this man

[link to www.youtube.com (secure)] (Bobby Sands and 9 other IRA prisoners at Long Kesh died on hunger strike, attempting to force capitulation from Ms.Thatcher or at minimum, to be declared prisoners-of-war - which would have obligated the PM to honour Geneva Convention rules, and might have undermined her ability to respond the following year to Argentina's seizure of the Falklands)

All this goes back centuries and has filled books, and a number of major films the past 40 years, which I could explain in a much-longer posting.

At any rate, after 800 years of turmoil, President Joe Biden has come on the scene. Only a man of his stature will resolve history's disgraces.
