If you haven't already suggest reading the Gospel of Judas. Yeshua constantly laughs at his disciples because of their religious fervor. He laughs and told them they represented the twelve zodiac and they were to be the ones that would bring forth the teachings where abominations would be done in his name. He said that their stars (astrology) would be destroyed. Who were we to name the stars and draw lines between them? Who were we to think we could control time?

None of his disciples understood him except Judas and Magdalene. The two who were most put down. Most demonized. He asked Judas to turn him in in order to fulfill his purpose at that time, which wasn't to absolve them of their debt but to leave us with teachings to break free from them. They did exactly as he said they would and hid or corrupted those teachings.
