With that, they cannot recognize wood cells.

Biologists often see material at 1,000X or more.
Earth wood cells are often 20 microns across. At 30X magnification, wood cells become 600 microns across, which is 0.6 mm across, visible to many people but unrecognizable to many people. Magnified to 1,000X, wood cells remains are still unrecognizable to die-hard people.
