I can tho. I know a lot of great people who just can't see through the bs. About the vx. About the "moon landings" lol. Etc.
If I held myself to the kind of standards you're proposing, I would have no allies at all. And that would be a huge mistake.
Have to take the bad with the good, it's just the way it is.

Yep I only have a few that I can really count on. Seems to be that way for most of us. It's been said that people up north are hard to get to know, they don't take to strangers easily. But once you're in, they'll fight to the death for you. People in the south can be the exact opposite. Go to any bar, everyone's your friend. But when the chips are down they're nowhere to be found. I heard that from a bartender in a pool hall on FM1960 a long time ago and it matches my experience pretty well. With a few notable exceptions, of course. Cherish those good friends that will always be there for you, they are few and hard to find.
