Here's your problem dumb dumb. It says right on their front page. Here I will highlight it for you incase you can't read. "Mercatox permits customers across the globe to trade on their platform.>>>> This is not a regulated platform<<<<<, which allows the management to accept clients from all over the world" Look at the arrows and what they paint to. Don't come here and try to put a damper on crypto because you use an "UNREGULATED EXCHANGE"

It is not regulated dumb dumb therefor it is open house on its clients. SS-bigdummy

Sorry, friend, that doesn't look good.

I have used Hotbit, another dodgy exchange, in the past, because they gave me access to names I couldn't access on US exchanges.

This is their current app message:

Only lesson is to never keep your crypto stored on a non-US-regulated exchange. If someone is acting as a custodian of your crypto, they need to be top class. Otherwise, you need to be using your own wallet.

What about the swap aspect. How many have used Uniswap or Pancake or sushi swap. The are very chain specific as Uniswap is on the ETH chain ERC=20 tokens. They have DOGE coin on Uniswap

when there is lots of volume with a particular coin, it isnt uncommon for exchanging of said coin, becomes 'temporary unavailable.'

so if you think you are going to flip during highs or dips, you can get burned really bad, because you might be locked out of exchanging for several hours while that coin is going way up or way down.

this happens on even some of the bigger exchanges.

And this is why we can't have nice things.

Invest in cryptos, they said. It will be groovy, they said.

Seriously, I'm so sorry this happened to you and I hope you are able to get some of it back.

Even keeping it on a us exchange isn’t safe. Remember cryptsy? The lesson is if you don’t own the private keys, you don’t own the coins.

Not your keys not your crypto, this is why a centralised "custodial" exchange is always a bad mistake!

When you signed up you agreed to their terms and conditions.

Don't worry, there will be a new crypto coming out tomorrow you can invest in. I heard it will be called CuckCoin. And it's super safe, it uses blockchain.

The real trick is to learn to think critically; ask better and more questions. Don't accept anything at face value. Be sure you're making healthy decisions, getting adequate rest and spending proper time reflecting on things.
