As you can see from mine and Annie Oakley's posts above we were having great fun with the imminent reentry of Skylab. All over the world people were having Skylab parties and parodying the impending doom. It was on the news, it was everywhere.
Now contrast with today. No one is noticing, no one is having fun with it. Things have changed, the mood of the entire world has changed. The media and politicians and the deep state have created a dull grey world.
But as soon as it stops raining I am going to go out and mow a big bullseye in the hay field.
