Do you like pickled eggs ?

Drink a 6 pack and eat 6 or 7 boiled eggs and give her the old dutch oven.

I use the brine left over from a jar of Claussen pickles and fill it with boiled eggs. You can add more garlic, crushed red pepper, etc, if you like.

If my beets grow good I’ll be making the purple ones.

These turned out great.

I've done that with cokes from the garden. Sliced them real thin and put in leftover pickle juice.

Have you tried pink pickled eggs?

Use the red juice left over when your jar of pickled beets is out of beets.

I heat it first, put the hot juice in a clean jar, then drop the hard-boiled eggs into the jar.

Refrigerate overnight at a minimum. And they get better the longer they pickle.

I really like beets so that will probably be the next type we make.

I do pickled quail eggs all the time here.

They sell a brand of spiced vinegar her called Datu Puti. It's loaded with onions garlic and chili.

Virtually nothing to do. Boil eggs and add the spiced vinegar.

I like to pickle eggs in beet juice. Then after they sit in there for a week or so make Deviled Eggs out of them.

I used to make tuna salad & stuff it in a big pepper for lunch. Never thought of doing it with saurkraut. Thanks.

I put pickled beets on a burger omg it was quite tasty . I had no pickles that day. Better than pickles.

I make pickled beets a lot! Good stuff! (1 part vinegar, 1 part sugar, 1 part water)...Voile! Throw in some hard boiled eggs!

We just had a salad and I got out the pickled eggs.
They went good with it.

I am not a fan of pickled eggs because acid foods in general upset my stomach, but pickling food and a very good source of nutrients as eggs is a very good old technique that can very useful in times of uncertainty. When you can't depend on electricity for food storage, pickling is a very good way to keep food available.

Yup, but only in the summer. It’s too cold to sleep with the window open in winter.

Vinegar, onions, kosher salt, peppercorns, 12 eggs, 1 mason jar...

after a few days they should be ready to eat...
