The New York Times, in a Monday report, cited a “widespread consensus among scientists and public health experts” who believe the herd immunity threshold is “not attainable — at least not in the foreseeable future, and perhaps not ever.”

If the vaccines DO NOT confer immunity and cannot prevent transmission, then herd immunity will never be possible.
This alone is a major driver of vaccine hesitancy that the article fails to address.

At best, all they will do is prevent COVID infections from becoming severe. They may not even prevent the phenomenon of 'long-COVID', which can happen even in mild cases.

Herd immunity isn't a scientific term

It was all about Flatten the Curve. Herd immunity was debated then but dismissed. And most of us have allready cross-immunity because covid is the rebranded flu.

“Herd Immunity” will be reached once all “experts” spinning their fear porn to sell injections are imprisoned.

Clovid-19 is just a different version of the common cold, from the same family of coronaviruses.

We have never reached herd immunity with the common cold or the flu, so of course we won't with this new coronavirus strain.

Covid-19 has a 99.7% survival rate for known, documented cases. Of course there are probably tens of millions of undocumented cases that were never reported, so the actual survival rate might be more in the range of 99.90+ percent.

Vaccinating people for a virus that has such a high survival rate is ridiculous and a waste of money. The hysteria over Covid-19 is a scam.

Either everyone has always been immune or no one will ever be immune.

The coronavirus disease has been around for ages. It's called a cold.

When you realize that the RNA vaccines were sitting in cold storage for years, waiting for them to announce a "new deadly virus"....lol...look up SPARS pandemic.

None of this is real. They reclassified all flu and respiratory issues as "Covid19". Scared the shit out of the world by saying there was a new killer virus. Suddenly everyone who had a cold or flu or pneumonia was dealing with the worst sickness ever....exact same symptoms and deaths as we have seen with that crap for years, but now it is a pandemic.

Except for them bussing in old people with the flu to nursing homes and then killing them like cattle. That was a pretty sick maneuver to thin the herd. If I had bussed ten people with the flu into a nursing home in 2010, dozens and dozens of old people almost dead would have died. Great way to get rid of them and also collect $50 grand per Covid patient.

It is psychopathic. And they have blinded most people into debating vaccines and herd immunity, etc. They are culling the population and most people are so stupid that they wear useless masks based on a fake virus diagnosed with a totally fake test.
