I don't know how there could be a general knocking down of the shedding claim if we don't know what is being shed. I have heard it said that prions cannot be shed, and maybe that's true. But if it's a virus obviously it could be shed.

For an unknown viral infection I recommend Serrapeptase which destroys the protein shell around a virus, enabling the body to attack it. It seems to work against viruses I've had up until now including flu. Obviously I don't know for sure whether it's safe against whatever is now being spread.
