They stop human reproduction for three generations. So, about 75 years. (In the show, U.S. version at least.) Assuming they realize how long a generation is, which hopefully they don't. Because stopping it for three generations is exactly like stopping it forever.

One can only imagine the number of babies who might survive but will have horrible birth defects. Potentially 3 generations of mutant children.

They're just speeding things up now because their time is running out. If they succeed they will accomplish their plan of deleting 3-5 billion people by 2050. They said no children. And after 75 years how does it restart? Because the youngest person is 75 years old. There might be a few people in the 70+ age range.

Now, some people are stupid and think a generation is about a decade. We could come back from 30 years. But, a generation is not a decade. It is 25 years. No way to just start the old human baby factory back up with a bunch of people on the way out from old age.

In fact, depending on how this is supposed to work, it might have killed the sex drive so that no one has even had sex in 75 years. I guess there might be a few people in their 90s still alive to explain how it all worked, but to whom? There are no young people.

No, I totally agree with you, but Trump was more flamboyant and outlandish in his daily tweet rhetoric to insight division and civil unrest that has led to the now.
But surely no one becomes president in this country that has not been vetted in some way, or they would get JFK'd in broad daylight.
