Hecate is a lie.

If you follow this demon Hecate you are doomed.

Turn away. Turn to the light.

Stay away from Hecate and keep this demon out of your mind are it will make you mentally ill.

I am not following any demon..nor do I want to!

A half dead woman sounds pretty demonic to me.
This dream seems to be a warning. Lilith usually appears as a white woman with black hair. You don't need to know this demon's name because speaking it would only conjure it and it sounds like a death obsessed demon. They love to suck up our emotions over death, especially our own.
Was she crying? Mexico has a demoness like this who cries for the child she lost. Lilith eats children. She does not cry.
Lilith is the demon they worship at Bohemian Grove, the Owl.

Re: A forest goddess.. Lilith, hella,Hecate? Advice?
Since a child I have been haunted by a dream, I was a young child, in my dream I was waiting in a forest at a dirt path/road in the dark waiting for something/someone. All around me in the forest I heard crying/wailing/howling/talking..I knew/sensed that the entity's around me watching me, would have no hesitation about killing me..but for some reason I knew they couldn't touch me I wasn't scared. I was here by request, invite..
I remember hearing a noise, horses etc..then I seen a gothic like carriage pulled by 6 wild black horses. The carriage was old, shabby, torn but I knew/felt/ emotion that it wasn't, it was meant to look like that..then the door opened, an I was greeted by a smiling, half dead woman dressed in a gothic like dress..I remember/sensing the entity's in the forest behind me, scared, silent. Having respect for this lady..the woman/lady asked me to come in. Sit down, I wasn't scared,I knew she was Very powerful, but also I knew I was safe, secure..hard to describe, like a mother, son bond..I got in. Then we started to talk, I carnt remember the conversation, but I do know/sense that she was my guardian.

She was a white woman with black hair, very beautiful, immaculately dressed..i knew I was safe, secure...I also knew/sensed I didn't owe her anything, or neither was I bound to her. But I felt her intentions were of a motherly nature. She was there to protect/provide/nuture . I am 45 now, and I haven't had the easiest of life, but I have always, succeeded.. always come out of a situation, shining,lucky.. and as mad as this may sound. I have always felt her presence, when times been hard..

Morrigan?

From what (little) I've heard about her, she could be a bad enemy or a good friend.

Were there any crows or ravens flying about? Or perhaps the black horses were ravens shapeshifted?

Sounds like you encountered Brigid. Did she have long flowing red hair?

No crows or ravens, from my childhood experience. But when family members have died, I have seen these birds, before they have passed. Also I think, I should of mentioned, I have been present at the passing of my dad, nan, grandfather, watched the last breath etc. Cancer, heart attack etc. It is a horrible experience. Hard to describe, I'm glad I was there, but I wish I wasn't. I carnt put into words.
