I have seen a lot of people lose themselves in the fear and propaganda in the last year. Many of my family and friends.

This is truly a nightmare. The addition of the vax is like those nightmares where you think you woke up and you're still stuck in the bad dream.

My mom has a giant TV on the wall that does the thinking for her. If I insert any information counter to the TV on her wall. She rolls her eyes back and thinks I'm a f'ing wack job.

It's sad. I watched these documentaries about cults, and family members trying to rescue cult members. That's how I feel. My mom is in a cult and I can't do anything about it.

My parents are utterly clueless social conformists.

I saw that...as if things weren't bad enough with the covid bullshit. I hope she gets better...those jabs are bad news and I can't believe they're giving them to people like your Mom. Sounds like she already had previous health issues that would have prevented them from giving it to her. They're evil.

My mom got it despite me warning her about the blood clots, that she's especially susceptible because she has a bad heart. She hasn't had any ill effects yet, and hopefully won't, but she's now against the "vax" because her friend's niece died from it and left behind two young children.

People acting all kinds of weird suddenly? That's GLP for ya!

I joked and told my mom tonight that my wife has been sick every other day since she got the vaccine and mom was quick to shoot back "the vaccine does not make people sick or anything like that!" (Shes had both shots)

And i said "so a brand new vacccine or medicine cannot cause different side effects in differnet people? You dont ever see all the side effect that could happen on those commercials that have a laundry list of negative effects? This is the only one ever that is perfectly safe for everyone?"

She didnt reply but it was kinda crazy that even she is so conviced its perfectly safe and nothing could possibly go wrong

Some people won't believe until it happens ot them or someone close to them.

I have a 96 yr old grandma that is the same way

Its amazing because she never leaves the house, but somehow rachel maddow and msnbc tell her everything that is "real" in the world

The woman who got paralyzed from the neck down, last week, said she still encouraged people to get the jab. If damaged people are saying this there is no getting through to ANYONE who has decided to get it.

It's quite possible. Why else would the media be filming and interviewing her. Otherwise they wouldn't want people to know about her. She said her experience was "rare." I'm sorry, but once it happens to you it ceases to be rare in your mind..right?
