Deplorable Mary User ID: 78097262 ![]() 05/10/2021 07:43 PM ![]() Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Ain't that some shit. People had begun travelling to coast Easter, having been locked up for a year. Our beach had reservations booked through Oct. People in town, spending money, feeling free, being alive again. Quoting: antsmarching This morn, Corp called, told us, shut off premium. For now we have reg unleaded and diesel fuel. They told us prices would begin climbing and reach $5/gallon quickly. Next larger town ran out of gas by afternoon. Even interstate gas stores. Only ones who will have gas are those who receive from western part of us and any other stores who get east coast deliveries will have to pay top dollar to get oon west coast schedule. We didn't really think "they" would allow us to live freely, unvaxxed this summer and travel within us by car freely, did we? Stock up on anything you by that travels by gas. Prices are getting ready to skyrocket. Just hit my grocer and bought food at today prices. Tomorrow, who knows? Asheville, NC. Most stations closed, many by 9:00 this morning. A very few open as of half an hour ago. Very long lines and they are limiting purchases. |

Quoting: Monger of Many Things save it for when reg is $5.50 & Premium is $6.50... (Sorry sir but all we have is premium...) They will make more money on the premium later than regular. Right now about 2.65/gal reg. coastal NC NO DOOM YET. |

Nope. I can't put anything but 93 octane in my car. Your cars engine ECM will adjust for the lower octane or if you are really worried you can put an octane booster additive from any number of stores. Your ECM adjusts the cylinder compression??? I think you meant the fuel/air ratio, which has nothing to do with octane ratings. If you have a high compression engine, do not use a lower octane! Use what the manufacture recommends. |

antsmarching (OP) User ID: 79925259 ![]() 05/10/2021 08:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | We may get lucky on Long Island Quoting: Tenty United Riverhead Terminal, Inc., an affiliate of United Metro Energy, owns one of the largest petroleum terminals in the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions. Located 80 miles east of New York Harbor on a 286 acre site in Suffolk County, New York, the Riverhead terminal features 20 storage tanks totaling five million barrels of capacity, a truck transfer rack, and an off-shore barge/ship platform. The offshore platform is located in the deepest channel on the East Coast and is the only deepwater loading/unloading platform on the U.S. Eastern Seaboard. With an operating draft of 64 feet, the terminal's offshore platform routinely receives Suezmax vessels and is capable of handling tankers carrying over one million barrels of crude, gasoline, diesel, or heavy fuel, giving United Metro access to vast supply and storage resources. Billxam, ABATE, AWHA User ID: 56270897 ![]() 05/10/2021 08:30 PM ![]() Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Report from SE Michigan, Ann Arbor area. Quoting: Billxam, ABATE, AWHA So prices here were at the $2.59 ish level and jumped to $2.89 in the past week. No issues at all with different grades. Remember, we have a Marathon refinery in Detroit. Up north where my cabin is....well that's a different story. The prices up there are always a good 10 cents more. Waters, Michigan BP where I fill up is still at $2.56 a gallon for regular. I can confirm the Ann Arbor prices. I'm in Ann Arbor too. The price difference being flipped is pretty weird. I'm going to work on the tiny home project later this week so I'll be bringing back 15 gallons of the cheap stuff from up there. You can run old paint thinner, kerosene, diesel, jet a, avgas, charcoal lighter fliid, even used motor oil. If its at all combustible, you can burn it in your car. I wouldnt go over ten percent non-mogas just to be safe. Try to filter it first, but in emergencies, fuckit, and change the filters later if they clog. I used to work where hazardous materials were removed from shipments. If it burned I put that shit in my cars. |
