According to reports in the other thread on here Hezbollah had tried to get pro Palestinian groups to take credit for the rocket strikes out of Lebanon so as not to entice Israel into attacking them as well.

It appears Hezbollah wants nothing to do with this so doubt they will be getting involved.

I have a feeling that from it seems has happened tonight, not much of Hamas leadership, and much of their equiptement and in uniform as such active (as in tunnels) is left.

Israel is im sure not going to stop, I really think ground operations will come soon next 72 hrs especially if lots more rockets fired again, as their Dome Ammo will be getting low probably.

Do you realize that her mastery of the English language is excellent for that region, let alone the Gaza Strip. It’s no coincidence that she’s there, speaking fluent English, saying how she just wants to help her people. Crisis acting at its finest.

In my opinion, Israel are going to keep hitting hard to try and provoke Hamas into breaking out the proper missiles (started earlier) so they can take care of them. The bottle rockets are of little concern really. Yes, deleting all the commanders in the field is a definite priority, but they really want to know what ballistic missiles Hamas has and where they are. I think they've gone too far now to just stop. They seem determined to do as much as they can without sending in ground forces.

I also find it amazing that Hamas is basically on their own. What Israel is doing is borderline extermination. Hezbollah would rather watch them get destroyed and thank Allah it's not them right now. And also barely a peep from any other countries in that area. Are they really so scared of Israel they would just let "their own" be massacred? You would think somebody would at least try and distract Israel in some way. But nothing.

Another actor that could move in now is Turkey. In Libya, they are fighting a proxy war with Egypt, but that is officially winding down. Now Egypt could be faced with a massive refugee crisis from Gaza. Turkey could stage "Peace Keeping" forces from Sinai into Gaza and solve a problem for Egypt. Turkey could then pressure Israel to give Turkey direct maritime access to Gaza.

It has always been Turkey's stated goal to end the blockade.
