Typically, most people with above average intelligence have some type of Asberger's syndrome. And it's not really a mental defect, it's just the consequence of being able to analyze social interactions and body language at a level much higher than a normal person.

So as the person with Asberger's tries to 'act normal', they are actually analyzing every single thing they do and say, and it makes them come off as being 'robotic'.

And yes, this also means they seem 'awkward' when put into a new situation or around new people. this is because they spend a lot of time analyzing how people act/react, so they can fit in, so at the beginning of a social interaction with someone new, or on camera, they are unable to act like an average person.

They either over-react, or under-react emotionally, and this makes them seem awkward to the common pleb.

I also have been told my whole life that i am 'smarter' than the average person, and have also been told i act awkward when i meet someone new or do public speaking. So i am describing my own situation above, and after watching many videos of Gates, Bezos, Musk and Zuckerberg, it's pretty clear that's what is happening.

Asberger's is claimed to be on the spectrum of autism, but i think that ADHD, ADD and Asberger's go hand in hand. It's a symptom of having a hyper-active brain
