FPL generates a massive excess of electricity that they sell to neighboring states.

All nuclear and solar power.

We also have the lowest energy rates in the country (~9.5-10.5 cents per KWh)

My 2400 sq. ft. home, keeping the AC set at 70 degrees, cost me ~ $135-$145 per month.

I can't speak for the other states you mentioned, by Florida won't have a problem.

I feel like this whole thing is completely artificial. They want us nice and softened up so they can just take more control. First with the fires that made people grateful just to survive. Now they’re shutting the power off when it gets extremely cold or hot. Welcome to life in the third world!
