According to the Pfizer document below there were 81 serious adverse events in the placebo group and 103 in the vaccine group. So the odds of the vaccine causing or adding to the probability of a serious event is 22 in 18,800 or 1 in 854. As we get more data that risk will probably increase as we learn more about long term effects. For now it is probably a good assumption that Moderna, JJ and AZ have similar risks.

A serious adverse event is any undesirable sign, symptom, or medical condition with one or more of the following outcomes: is fatal, is life-threatening, requires or prolongs inpatient hospitalization, results in persistent or significant disability/incapacity, may have caused a congenital anomaly/birth defect, or requires intervention to prevent permanent impairment or damage.
