We have fuel just about everywhere....but

It keeps going up in price.

I went out for a few hours earlier today. On my way out, a gas station I always drive past was at $3.039 per gallon. On my way back, the same gas station 2-3 hours later...$3.059 per gallon .


Y'all do realize they are doing this shit ON PURPOSE ...

But they said everything is fine. The pipeline is back up and everything will be back to normal in a week.

The company claims that it will take about a week or so for things to recover. I'll give them that.

I just put the cities into gas buddy app and can see DC, Richmond, Williamsburg, Virginia Beach and on and on. Imagine being in VB in your hotel and you know to get to 64 to get out of there you have to go on that bridge tunnel and once one person runs out everybody does.

You cannot even extend your stay as most hotels are fully booked by those who flew in so you are out of your room at 11am and they say they are sorry no rooms and you have to move your car as our lot is small and we have incomings.

Shit out of luck, stuck in a place going downhill with shootings and shit with your family and can't get gas to save your life.

All can do is hope you are all clear to fly home and abandon your car somewhere. Fucked city.

How does a semi get a tank of unleaded through the mountains to the gas stations and get diesel to get home on? These stations are all out of BOTH so what are they flying gas to the airports in refueler military planes and having sheetz and bp come get fuel. How the hell can they send full trucks to unload that can't get back to fill up and get stranded with no way to refuel.

This seems impossible asf to me.

Left 7:30am from Orlando FL and arrived an hour ago in Emporia VA. We were able to get gas. 10 min on I-95 couldn't get any gas - 2 stations had bags over their pumps. 20 min ago we were limited to $25. We were going to 'circle back' to the same station as the one down the road was empty, but the guy in front of us just pumped the last of the station's tank. He only got $10 out of it. There were some lines.

We have 6 hours left to drive home tomorrow. We will stop 1 or 2 more times and I'll keep you posted.
