If you had a large sum of money in the bank what would you do with it?

I got granted $9,000 recently from the SBA business loan stuff. I am diversifying by adding about $1,000 more to my stocks and IRA account, I invested about $4,000 into Dogecoin. About $1,000 into other cryptocurrencies. And I've continued to pay down my credit card debts faster than I was doing.

I still have over 6K in my bank account, and have at least another $5K coming back from my tax return I still have yet to file, so I'm going to keep paying down the rest of my credit card debts and then start investing more into cryptocurrencies. Oh, and I still need to get to a Gold Depot store to buy another $1,000 in gold and silver coins.

I have plenty of paint work scheduled to July, so this is all play money for me lol

The smart thing to do would be to pay off all your debts and then take what is left over and consult a recommended & well researched professional.

The thing about land is you will own nothing and be happy. The thing about banks, you know they are going to be "cyber attacked" soon, the thing about fiat, it will not exist. The thing about crypto, it's a gamble. I put my money in crypto that I believe will be the future, xrp, xlm, algo, litecoin and doge. Too me, it was the best of all the choices. My next choice will to make over a box truck into a escape home off grid. But then there is the gas thing... They keep us in a perpetual state of guessing. Right now id just be happy to not be sick as fuck from being near the vaccinated.

Well, the first part is true. Regarding the second part would depend on the amount of money....and it wouldn't be used for showing off but for helping other people and animals.

First I would secure my continuing ability to exist....then the rest would go to worthy places, projects and people.

I don't require lots to be happy. Just want to be and stay stable in this unforgiving hyperinflation....the rest I would share and one of my projects would be sustainable food for people by means of training, land, business schooling and tools.

Remember .........if you give a man a fish you feed him for one time/day. If you teach a man to fish you feed him for his life.

AND of course I would be thanking both God and the means by which the gift came to me.

P.S.. I would make one exception. I would love to go on a vacation. Can't remember what that is like since it has been so long. I would love to go to one of those Sandals Beach resorts.

If you have land, IMPROVE your soil.

Have it tested and add any amendments recommended including trace minerals such as chromium, copper, selenium, etc. to make the food that you grow more nutritious.

Grow green manure cover crops and plow them under to decompose.

Build an underground shelter

So in credit card debt, granted a new loan and putting most of it on into gambling the crypto market. Wise

I give it all back to help pay down the national debt.

If I had say 100 million I would rebuild my town. And build a big indoor outdoor pool and sports facility for them
I would tear down old structures and build up shops. Let people rent them for cheap to establish family run businesses. Beautify the area with fountains and gardens.

I have a modest amount of money (enough to buy a new car) invested in physical gold - because I already have a piece of land and home that is paid for (with gardens and livestock)and because I don't trust the banks or the money markets, and I make less than a grand a month from SS ...

that way, when I need a new vehicle, or a new roof or a new septic system or a new well pump I have it ... and I need less and less because it keeps increasing in value.

I would buy as much physical gold and silver I could afford and still be able to live somewhat comfortably. You are right, the dollar is going away very soon. Silver is about $27/oz right now and gold is around $1800/oz
Both will be worth MUCH MORE than the dollar in the near future, might even be financially ahead of where you are now in life with some precious metals as a backup!

2) get it out of US dollars into hard assets - prob a mix of land, PM, survival shit

Buy a bigger arsenal.

I would buy things that could be used as currency no matter how hard the SHTF.

I would buy a small piece of rural land in Oregon and let me start a permaculture farm. You get half of everything produced. At the same time we would both start podcasts/vlogs and either sell excess food and or crafts.
But without a solid sane sober helper.... well just be careful who you involve.
