hesright

It is a scam. I was into bitcoin back in 2012. Made some money off it. It used to actually be a 'currency'. Now it's a ponzi scheme. Ever since ethereum launched bitcoin has been copied thousands of times with idiotic code that launches more ponzi scheme coins.

Even worse the entire space is propped up by imaginary counterfeit dollars called 'tethers'.

Then you have billionare scammers like Elon joining the mix and screwing over the plebs.

This shit is a joke now. Bitcoin is unusable as a currency. The transaction fees are $25-50. So the cointards will now scream 'store of value' and pray to Paolo at tether to print more counterfeit billions to pretend the price has any meaning.

What a shitshow.

So him and his company figure out what Bitcoin is offering and how it's one of the hottest assets to add to any corps balance sheet, and they go ahead and buy $1.5b worth of it earlier this year.

Apparently only later does any actual research on what they splurge $1.5b on, and finds out its a supposed energy hog?

Now Elon's feelings are hurt because they got called out on their bullshit ("why do you need BTC when you have paypal???") and he's gonna dump it in a sudden change of heart?

Either there is more to this story, or this guy is a tard and we don't need this kind of billionaire elite spreading misinformation and exploding rocket technology which is barely out of the exploding at the launchpad stage...

good riddance, bitcoin and crypto was fine before elon and it will be fine post-elon facepalm...

I'm pretty sure cryptocurrency is just a way for people to deposit real dollars into a black-hole run by China.

Think about it, the 'system' takes a good 20-30 million dollars a day to run. The cost of electricity is huge. That's why it's all being run out of China, who in-turn steals the energy from Tibet.

Last year the numbers were over 80% of hashing power coming from China.

That means 'crypto investors' literally deposit money into a black hole that gets extracted by the Chinese.

Then, 'investors' swap shitcoins that have no actual dollar value since the money has been extropolated from the market by the Chinese, who instead allow counterfeit money called 'tethers' to give the ILLUSION that this stuff has any value.

Then, they pump one coin and dump another. While little real-money enters the system. The money that does is immediately extracted by Chinese miners.

The exchanges are all surely running a bare-minimum fractional reserve system. Meaning they don't let people cash out large amounts, they simply can't. The money isn't there. It's like bernie madoff, it works until it doesn't. So they allow small cashouts to give the illusion of liquidity. I'm sure Elon's '10% sale' stunt was coordinated with many of these exchanges to quell rumors of bitcoin having zero liquidity. Let's see some pleb off the street try to sell his million in crypto. He wont' be able to. I've followed this space for years. You can't cash out more than a few grand a month, creatively. Instead the cointards will tell you about mythical imaginary 'OTC markets' where the 'real action' is. However the small handful of people allowed into this club are the ones already running the exchanges. Catch my drift? It's a small cartel of ponzi schemers backed up by millions of moron sycophants incapable of basic math.

Re: Elon Musk implies Tesla already SODL its bitcoin - hahahahahah
Elon Musk didn't actually Invent Tesla either, he scammed his way into being called a 'founder'. Look it up!

History lesson:

Musk bought his way into Tesla with $6 million he got from an initial investment at another company (No, he didn't 'invent' that either).

Tesla was actually founded by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning. The engineers become CEO and CFO, respectively. Eberhard and Tarpenning were inspired to create the company after General Motors ended its EV1 program and ended the electric cars.

Mr Eberhard and Tarpenning were approached by Mr. Musk in 2004 and they agreed to work with Mr. Musk during the 1st institutional funding round of Tesla Motors. The A-round was planned for a total VC investment of $7.5 Million.

Musk negotiated with Eberhard and Tarpenning and he pushed them to agree to let him be the lead investor of the A-round.

Musk negotiated the right to own 86% of the funding.

Musk then invested $6.5 Million of his own money in the A-round.

As a condition of closing the A-round, he also demanded to hold the position of Chairman of the Board.

And now for the part where Elon scams his way into fraudulently being called a 'founder':

After the A-round closed, Musk manipulated the post A-round scenario. Afterwards, he legally attacked the company and sued Eberhard, Tarpenning and Tesla Motors Inc. Demanding that he be allowed to call himself a Founder. Now being a future majority holder of the company, he could exert his will any way he pleased. In fact he threatened to withhold his 86% funding if the real founders didn't grant him the title.

Mr Musk was legally allowed to retroactively call himself a “co-Founder”. Which seems to now translate to 'founder' by his sycophant fanboys.

So, the 'brilliant' Elon is in reality just another manipulative billionaire that scammed his way into a company founded by brilliant people.

Also now that Old Joe Biden is in office the democrats are going to start cracking down on cryptocurrency more.

They've already introduced something called the 'STABLE ACT' - which would force 'stablecoin' operators to prove they are actually backed at a 1-1 ratio with dollars on a continual basis. Which NONE of them have done, not even USDC. That's why all you'll see from these companies is 'ATTESTATIONS' - NOT AUDITS. An 'attestation' just means someone looked at something shown to them by the business. It doesn't mean they scrutinized ANYTHING to make sure the money was actually there every day, etc.

I think Elon is tanking the market so he can buy the dip.

Bitcoin is the ultimate store of value. It is guaranteed to be worth double every 4 years at the minimum.

His endgame is NOT Doge tokens, despite him owning 25% of all tokens.

Doge is a pump and dump to get people out of Bitcoin so he can acquire more.

Elon buying $1.5 billion in Bitcoin was not a mistake, and is only the beginning for him.

Bitcoin is a global gold mine. Doge is a way to capitalize on the millennials who think they missed out on the GameStop con.

He is selling his Doge hand over fist via the Robinhood app.

Elon is like a walking Tether scam, and the name of the game is more Bitcoin.
