"The trinity" created nothing.

The SON OF God is our Mediator to God.

Mediator means one who goes between.

You believe there is a "third person" who goes between us and Jesus, between Jesus and the Father, etc. Thus, you believe in a "2nd Mediator".

Partial truth here, Jesus saves, that is correct and it is an act of grace, not something you do. That is the message of the New Testament, not the Gnostic texts. You are confusing false doctrines in the church with what the Bible actually teaches.

Gnosticism was rejected by the early church because it's teachings weren't consistent the old testament and the earliest writings of the apostolic church. For example, Gnosticism teaches that creation came from an imperfect spirit who they thought was the God of Abraham.

There is ZERO support for that theology in the Old Testament thus the source of this thinking had to be rejected.
