I was very confused with the whole drama of Tesla purchasing a large amount of Bitcoin, announcing they would accept payment for Tesla’s in the cryptocurrency, only to seemingly sabotage their own investment by then saying they would no longer accept it as it is environmentally unsustainable...

...that is, I was confused until I realised it is all part of Elon Musk’s master plan to crash Bitcoin so he can introduce his own Crypto coin which will probably simply be called X or X Coin, and will be marketed at his beloved domain x.com

A cryprocurrency that is owned by somebody is useless. It contradicts the whole idea of crypto. He could just as well setup an SQL database to track balances, call himself a bank and have the same effect.

He wouldn't own the crypto, but would own the exclusive platform it can be traded on, ie, x.com and would also own the infrastructure that is used to process the x coin transactions.

Don't put crypto in a box, it still has innovation yet to come, as it transitions into becoming our default currencies.
