studied at Vaughn college of aeronautics and tech'. I have a bachelors in aviation maintenance and i am licensed by the faa; RATED both in airframe and powerplant. Which means I can work on aicraft engines and structure. If you have any question regarding this field feel free to ask.

yes a 747 can still fly with the LG in down/lock position. The only affect exerted on the plane is whats called *parasite* which is a type of drag force.
