My favorite non food substance. They always said it would kill but here I am after 60 years of smoking and all I can say is if it's going to kill me it better hurry the fuck up or something else is going to beat it to it.

Oxidized nicotinic acid is niacin.

Niacin rids the body of poisons associated with radiation.

This is exhibited as what is called a "niacin flush".

Niacin flush will occur where a person has had a sunburn previously in their life.

The act of smoking brings niacin to the lungs which is not an ideal place.

This is why smoking "causes" cancer.

Niaciamide is fake niacin which is why it does not produce a flush.

If you quit smoking, it might be reasonable to start on oral niacin in an attempt to replace the massive amounts of niacin your body has been receiving and possibly ward off cancer.

If you have stopped smoking because you have cancer, niacin (not Niaciamide) might be useful.

1 out of 3 smokers gets cancer. What does that say? I'm of the belief lung cancer is caused by nuke testing back in the 50s (if not the majority of cancers). It's easy to draw correlations.

Unfortunately, smoking does contribute to coronary issues. At some point in life, it is time to reevaluate.

Burning tobacco is one of the most foul and annoying smells on the planet.

Smoking cigarettes is very unhealthy. My girlfriend’s grandmother (who was a chronic smoker) died at 67 from COPD, only a couple years into retirement. It also ages you faster. I have twin aunts, one of whom has smoked for 30 years while the other hasn’t, and the one who smokes looks about 15 years older than her identical twin sister. Cigars and pipe tobacco are much more pleasant to smoke. The tobacco is a much higher quality, and a good cigar is like a fine wine. Smoking them often, though, can lead to oral cancer. Rush Limbaugh had a penchant for cigars, as you probably know, and he’s pushin’ up daisies. Chew tobacco is gross and can also lead to oral cancer and gum issues.

However, nicotine does have some health benefits (despite mild cardiovascular risk). I suggest taking it in a tobacco-free form. Go buy some Zyn cool mint pouches from the gas station, that stuff is great. Spare your lungs, liver and brain from the onslaught of toxins. Why would you inhale formaldehyde and benzene? Just plain stupid.

on another plus I just finished my first ever batch of moonshine about 3 hrs ago... Dam that stuff is rocket fuel.. I refuse to give the government a penny more in tax..
