Fine mist, raindrops, or even high humidity in the air can also show up in such a way. These water droplets reflect the light even better than the dust does. Scientific, logical minds will see dust particles and moisture. Those accepting of paranormal explanations will see long-lost relatives and guardian spirits. |

You want to know why? I can tell you because I have watched them in real time with enhanced infrared optics which ARE NOT sold to the public. They do not show up because they are flying through the room. They are not floating, they are moving, often at about the speed of a bird flying through the room. They do slow down to look at things that catch their curiousity, like me sitting on the floor looking at them with infrared goggles in a pitch black room. Camera flashes charge them in some way, causing them to fluoresce large amounts of infrared light, which shows up as a bluish-white light on digital cameras. They tend to not like this and will leave the room through the walls, floors or ceilings, thus the lack of subsequent pictures showing the orbs. |

They only give off infrared light when they are moving, somehow interacting with surrounding molecules in this time and space, like electrons cause a TV screen to fluoresce, or when a camera flash goes off, again causing an infrared fluorescence. |

We have long thought her grandparents are hanging around.I sure have no explanation for them. The orbs are definitely there. Quoting: Couple days ago 256229Yes, I believe that orbs are spirits. At my Dad's wake I took several shots of his nieces in front of his bedroom window. When we got the photos developed there was a white, smoky haze above his loved ones. This also happened with a different camera a few days later at the Ritz Carleton where my Mom, sister and niece were having lunch. |

He has an intersting theory. Orbs are balls of energy of ghosts who have not yet learned the ability to transform themselves into full aperations. He said that the spirit world also has learning processes, some chose not to evolve and remain orb energy. ...wether that is true or not this man was amazing. Heres an orb from that day after the tour me and my man decided we would explore the historical 43rd street cemetary. The sky was pitch black all but the orange lights from the street lights. My x took our camera and walked around the whole vicinity of the grave yard miscellaneously taking snap shots. When we redeveloped our film, this is what we got. A big Blue Orb next to the grave stone of BALLINGER, BETTY EVE (1854-1936). Betty Eve Ballinger, cofounder of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, born on February 3, 1854, in Galveston link: [link to i115.photobucket.com] pretty awsome. Orbs rock.
