The soul is female. It's something she feels. It's the whole feeling complex of man. The spirit, again, it's something that relates to what a person is in this world. It's his self and his creativity.

They do not exist maybe most important. Soul? According to some sects, grace,whatever that is, pours into and out of the soul depending on the owners right or wrong deeds. Spirit? More of the same. Rather than applying terms that were used to describe actions not understood. The brain is where all thoughts reside. Your parents,culture,society etc, set the standards, high or low, one is looked at thru those social metrics. In much the way someone may say their heart was touched. Well sorry but the heart in a muscle. It has no ears to hear or eyes to see. One could just as well god spoke to my hamstring. A Valentine's card with an arrow thru gray matter isn't as attractive as one through a heart. All of these terms refer to the brain. Others who attach themselves to some supernatural belief are in the realm of Santa,god,fairies etc. Various beliefs have various standards. However, they all are united in that none have been shown to be true.

The spirit is that which animates the body? Are you not living?

Spirit is eternal and is what you truly are. The perceiver, the core principles, the free will., etc. Spirit is also what animates your body.

Soul is your ‘self’. AKA feelings, desires, fears, thoughts, memories, preferences, ego, etc. Soul is what gives life its ‘color’ and meaning and personality.

You can get a new self, presumably. But your Spirit is ‘you’ so it can never be replaced.

Physical, human, mortal, carnal

Mind/Body/Spirit. Basically Spirit is your infinite Consciousness/Mind/Life. Soul is the body suit your Spirit wears. Can be upgraded in various systems and universes, and when your Spirit advances. Spirit/Soul are used interchangeably however and are both you, your self.
