I watched a video of a drone small enough to fit in the palm of your hand that could recognize a target and attack, flying very fast and hitting the head of the target individual, then setting off a small explosive charge and sending a fatal projectile into the targets brain. Unless you knew it was coming you would never see it coming. They demoed it on stage... pretty scary.

I got all excited for nothing. The article is BS. The drone was "instructed" to target a specific group with specific identifying uniforms and insignia. It chose the individual target based on the instructions it had. Much like an Amazon drone is instructed to deliver to specific addresses, but it determines the safest drop spot based on parameters it's been been programed with. Absolutely nothing autonomous about it.
