With all the info that we, the public, have access to, it is pretty clear history and prehistory have not a lot to do with what is taught in schools.

Too much isn't explained, explainable or just told any whatever about.
I remember an old documentary, sorry don't remember the name of it, where the scientist was explaining how Ancient Egyptians could carve a statue made of the hardest rocks using tools made of the softest metals. His answer was the fact the statue existed was a validation that they used the technology he had just explained.
Not by replicating the object using the said technology.
So when one can answer such profanities with the benediction of the "authorities", it's another sign someone if trying to fill you with sh*t.

Origins, timelines, you name it, everything has been tampered with, which blurs the waters even more.

Through all that, I see the Annunakis as surviving members of what we call the dinosaurs era.
-They can survive in our environment,
-They apparently can reproduce with us,
-They are lizard or reptile like, similar to the dominant family of species that preceded us,

Taking all this into account, I think some of those members either left Earth until it was safe to come back or survived in a place that remained stable.
And the fact that the Annunaki means "those who came down from the sky" isn't proof they came from outer space or originated from another planet. Just that they had artificial flight capabilities.
