To any genius who thinks the US would defeat Russia in a war:

1. Putin does not need tanks and soldiers to subdue Europe. All he has to do is shut off Europe's natural gas supply. Im a Putin expert. If true and Nato does add Ukraine I do not believe in the short term Putin will do a thing Militarily. The long term is a 50/50. Yet this might be good for Putin. let me explain. Putin initially staged his troops and equipment on the border of Ukraine. When Ukraine let it be known through back channels that they were prepared to use Tactical Nukes on the invading Russians, Putin backed off. Not wanting to have no choice but to destroy Ukraine with Nukes. One thing about Putin is that he loves his country and people very much and will do whatever he has to protect it. Not having a Nuclear exchange with anyone is his most important strategy. Putin carriers a big stick and loves to flex his muscles because he is afraid. China on the other hand does not flex because it knows it does not have to. China is not a country that fears a Nuclear War. Now the good and bad news. Once Ukraine becomes a Nato member they will no longer have a Nuclear option defense. Im sure thats part of the agreement with Nato. This may even allow Nato to temporarily secure Ukraine Nukes. Now the bad news. Putin will see this as his free shot to invade Ukraine and not have to worry about Ukraine tactical Nukes being used on his soldiers..
