Yes civil asset forfeiture is extremely corrupt and should never be allowed.

Americans need to prepare for the collapse now because you'll be too late to get ready if you wait until the stock market crashes, the ATM machines shut down, the Internet, water, and electricity goes down, there are starving looters, riots, concentration camps open, Civil War 2.0 starts, and WWIII breaks out.

Buy guns, ammo, gold, and food and get out of the cities today.

Take this seriously.

Pass the word.

If protesting must be outlawed to prevent broken windows, why not ban airplanes to prevent airplane crashes or ban knives to stop stabbings?

If Americans don't defend free speech, religious freedom, gun rights, freedom from unconstitutional searches and seizures, the right to silence, and the freedom from torture and extrajudicial assassination, what part of the Bill of Rights do they support?

What country is this?

This is stunningly unconstitutional and unamerican. "Abuse of power" doesn't even begin to describe it. Until now, you at least needed to be suspected of a crime before they could confiscate your property. Now you just need to be adjacent to someone suspected of a crime.

Lesson learned: never put anything in a safety deposit box, because someone completely unrelated assigned to a box in the same institution may be attempting to abuse the bank to commit a financial crime, and therefore you should be forced to forfeit everything you put in it.

Funny thing, the great conservative, Ronald Reagan, is directly responsible for this crime. The RICO laws had been around for decades. Reagan thought it would be nice to loosen the controls and expand the program to every crooked cop in the nation. It was supposed to be about cracking down on drug lords, but the average guy, in the wrong spot at the wrong time paid the price.

Billions have been taken by thieving cops and the FBI. It is possible to get your property back, but you must prove you are innocent. Does not seem like a very Constitutional law--or very American Maybe Reagan was already senile when he allowed the criminal dictates to be enacted.

Yes. One of his few major mistakes. He used it to finance the operations going after the drug rings, which was noble at the time (back when we pretended to care about government spending). A classic case of "give an inch, and they'll take a mile."

Americans want to live in a police state because Americans hate personal responsibility.

In a police state, you don't need to pay your debts. Food, housing, Obamaphones, and medical care are free.

You can kill kids if the Gestapo tells you to.

There are no morals because there are no churches.

If you have a problem, you can just blame Trump, Russia, or the UN.

Re: FBI wants to keep fortune in cash, gold, jewels from Beverly Hills raid. Is it abuse of power?
Of course it ISN'T 'abuse of power.'

First, we gave them that power - willingly, happily - because bad guys need punishment and all real Americans want bad guys to be punished.

Secondly, anyone in uniform is a hero. Add a badge? Double hero! The top tier of hero is federal hero.

Those rich scumsuckers can play 'victim' all they want, but they knew exactly what they were doing when they hid items in an anonymous safety deposit box store. They were dealing in illegal items or trying to evade taxes. No honest person tries hiding valuables. No decent citizen needs privacy...unless they have something to hide! This kind of victim-blaming (the cops are the victims here) is exactly why America is coming apart at the seams. Men must be governed!

Does anyone get the feeling that anyone supporting the police state now is a paid NSA shill?
