Re: Have you ever experienced something so strange, that was real but no one will ever believe you ?
A guy in my graduating HS class tossed a basketball in the air like you would a volleyball, and hit it with his fist, hard. He was standing approximately under the hoop at one end of the BB court. That ball sailed full court and went through the hoop on the opposite side, nothing but net. I would not believe anyone telling ME that tale, but I was there and saw it first hand.

One evening a friend and I jumped in my car to go somewhere. He made some disparaging remarks about my car (a VW beetle, the original). A few remarks were made about how he'd never be impressed and I proceeded to prove him wrong by executing a few death-defying pavement maneuvers. At the end of all this I slammed on the brakes hard and that's when we discovered my 3-years younger brother had "stowed away" on the back bumper of the car and had been white knuckling the rain gutters the entire ride... when I braked he slid up over the roof until his face was on the windshield. I yelled "GET OFF MY CAR!". He had thought we were going to his favorite fast-food place and did not want to be left behind. During the ride he thought I knew he was back there and was seriously trying to hurl him off with break-neck maneuvers. It sickens me now to think what might have happened, but we had the luck of the young and dumb.

My ex wife (while we were still married) dropped a milkshake with no top, just slipped out of her hand. It landed perfectly level on the floor, instantly stopped without even a wobble, and a tiny spurt of milkshake (literally, 1-2 drops) shot up and hit the ceiling. All without spilling any.

A best buddy of mine made me a bet and we decided to flip for it. He flipped the coin and it landed on it's edge. Never seen one happen like that before or since.

Lost control of my car on an icy 2-lane highway during a snowstorm, while being approached at highway speed by an oncoming 18 wheeler... steep drop off on the right, zero shoulder. Spun the car around 360 degrees, ended up landing in a snow bank where the steep drop off mysteriously just wasn't for a few yards of road. Slid in so hard there was tall grass wedged between the tire and the rim. Managed to drive it out by myself without assistance. Dad caught up with me a few days later because he saw the grass wedged in the tire rim and demanded the whole story. I had kept mum about it until then. Sounds tame telling it... but it was the wild ride of a lifetime when it happened. Not fun. Semi never stopped BTW.

I probably have a guardian angel with white hair, a nervous tic and a drinking problem.

Was out in the countryside walking down a lane.
It was raining very hard 1-2ft in front of me, road was soaking wet 1-2 ft in front of me.
I was dry and the road behind me was dry.
I put my hand out and it got wet from rain, i followed the rain for some time until im guesing the wind changed direction..then i got soaked.

Not fantastic but i think it was pretty cool.

Yes I told a friend I would do anything to play guitar as good as him in that night I got a house call from the devil himself he jumped in my body and I heard the music of the spheres I believe it is what it is 1,000,000 notes all at once the most beautiful music you could ever imagine in in the devilish exorcist kind of voice she said you want it don't you and I thought yes and then I realize what was going on and I said no god save me and he said it's too late I have you know and it's haunted me the rest of my life

Saw a military jet chasing a silver ball about the same size as the jet. It was broad daylight. The jet shot a missile. The missile just vanished when it got close to the ball. The ball turned around back the way it came.

My wife and I got a dual massage from a guy in Asheville NC, was really into amateur flight and had built himself a small plane. Flew many flights, it malfunctioned one day and he slammed straight into the ground from 100's of feet. Lived to tell about it, took up massage therapy, healed himself and decided to try and heal others with his massage therapy.

Without anything specific, the guy was like an angel, the way he talked, acted, the things he said.

When I was a little kid I'd always wake up early and go shoreline fishing by my fathers house.Once I woke up just a little to early and went back to sleep.Looked like it was gonna be a lovely hot day.All 3 of my sister's and I were sleeping in the living room on mats.Woke up a while later and out from the big living room window, theres the lake that goes out for about 4km or so.On the other side my younger sister and I both saw those earthquake lights that look like rainbows along the horizon. And the weather was starting to change from sunny to hot and muggy.
After a little while we looked out and saw this big ball that had the color of the clouds sitting stationary above the lake 2km out.To little kids it seemed as big as the moon or sun.But being it was about 2km away,it just looked big.I mean it was probably big still.
By this time the weather was changing rapidly and soon we noticed that the big ball was half in the water and half out.We didn't get scared because we were just kids and not sure what it was.
After that the biggest storm I've ever witnessed happen. The clouds were so low and dark black with green tint.Like fast moving clouds. Some mamma clouds too.The waves were HUGE and lightning was hitting the ground and the lake. There was this reef just across by an island and these seagulls were chilling on it during the storm. After the storm they were all dead.It was just us kids and we were in the closet crying during the storm. My dad was out at work guide fishing and my step mom didn't have a car at her work. She was too scared to come get us lol.
My sister thinks it was HARRP.I honestly don't know. When we told our dad what we saw,he said it was probably a water spout lol.

i was about to embark on a bus full of hippies to a different state. before i left i looked all over for a clay pipe i made to bring with. i could not find it and was pretty bummed at the inconvenience.

for the whole trip i stayed in the back of the bus. a couple days later we reached our destination and started unloading the bus. i started pulling out boxes in the front of the bus and under the seats.
in one of those boxes was my pipe that i never left the house with.

I had a similar deal a couple of years ago where, if I had brought a certain drill bit with me, I would have died or at least been seriously messed up.

When I got home it was sitting right on the middle of my work bench, would have been impossible to miss as I was packing.

When I was about 10 I impaled my foot on a rusty nail sticking up through a board, while I wws walking barefoot through an underground drainage culvert. I was so impaled I couldn't pull my foot off it, and it took both me and my friend pulling together to un-impale me.

Then I had to walk barefoot about a hundred yards to get out of the culvert, then another mile to get home, on a seriously hurting foot.

You got off easy!

Re: Have you ever experienced something so strange, that was real but no one will ever believe you ?
OP said "no religious stories" but I'm unclear if there is overlap between religious/paranormal/visions/dreams.

I was a kid in high school and this was back in the 1970's.

Woke up in the middle of the night and was "aware" there was a presence in my room, something dark and evil... but it was an engaging sort of evil. I refused to acknowledge it's presence in any way, but I was terrified shitless. It unfolded visions in my mind, the gist of it being, the it was there as the representative of a worldwide network of like minds who were engaged in the endeavor of directing the course of history. They caused stock market rallies, recessions, wars, peace - all for power and profit. I was a naive kid at the time and had never heard anything like this. They were looking for recruits. Not to help them "rule" anything in a decision making capacity... just minions. Sleepers who they would help climb the ladder at important junctions in their lives/careers, who - when called upon - would perform some small task. Maybe open a switch that should have stayed closed... maybe walk away for a bathroom break at an important moment. Small stuff - at least, that's the way it was made to sound. I was horrified at the thought, it made me want to puke. Still, I laid there in the dark not moving a muscle, hardly daring to breathe. It really made a pitch about how easy my climb to success would be if I would just give a little cooperation, they'd see that I was in the right place at the right time to advance their aims in some small way.

For the longest time, nothing happened. Eventually, it just left... vanished. That experience to me was as real as any mundane conversation I have ever had, except the lack of actual verbal words being exchanged. To this day I wonder how my life would have been different if I'd accepted the offer... and whether I could have lived with myself afterwards. Never been that scared before or since.

These days I look at people in places of power, or people who seemingly had their way paved with lucky breaks... and wonder if they got the same pitch but came away with a handshake deal for that same offer. Makes me wonder.

Please refrain from religious experience, primarily because they all tend to a reminder of what has been reminded us for hundreds of years. Unless your religious experience was extremely unique.

Have you ever had to experience that you know was real and really did happen, yet you have no proof of and everyone wouldn't believe you if you told them and perhaps even starting to doubt yourself despite the fact that you know it's also real? Does it bother you going on in life knowing that you'll never be able to explain/prove it to anyone?

Share your experience.

One night in my younger days I was extremely jacked up on tremendous amounts of alchohol and a variety of narcotics. Nothing too abnormal during that period of my life however I did go a little extra harder that night. I was laying there completely put of it almost inept of function. I truly felt as if I began to die, it was as if my soul/consciousness was trying to leave my body, but I had to fight and "hold on" as thry say for a few minutes until that feeling stopped.
Tl;dr pretty sure I experienced the beginning of death.

Yes

When I first became a victim of voice to skull

It was very real. Life altering. Beyond my explanation or comprehension...and I knew nobody would believe me.

Its a horrible feeling. First you're victimized by this evil technology, then you're revitalized by looking crazy and being alienated from your loved ones

In 2003, I lived in rural E. Kentucky about 10 miles from the West Virginia border on the outskirts of Appalachia. One night we had a party and invited a few people over to our double-wide. Must have been around 11 pm we all heard very loud pounding that ran the length of our roof. A friend and I grabbed our guns and went outside. We couldn't find anything, but got this creepy feeling that something was watching us...

Next morning I inspected the roof with my friend and we both saw Bi-pedal foot print indentations that were close to 15" in length with a stride of at least 8 feet. Whatever it was, it jumped a good 20 feet from the hillside onto the top of the double-wide. Ran down the length of the roof and then jumped to the wooded and brush filled hillside that was 30 feet away...

I had to cover over my flat roof with an A-frame style roof because it leaked from the indentations...

Back in 2018 I fell asleep on the floor of my bedroom. While asleep i dreamt that a stereotypical looking "grey alien" was standing in my bedroom. The grey alien held its arms straight up over its head and shook them around. The dream lasted like 1 or 2 seconds, it wasn't a long thing. The weirdest part is that in my dream the alien bumped into a piece of furniture - my drawers -and when I woke up the drawers were moved in real life as if the alien moved them. I have a history of sleep walking so its possible I moved the drawers. But yeah, that was a weird dream. It looked just like a "grey alien" from Hollywood movies. It had big black eyes, grey skin, wasn't wearing any clothes, and it just wiggled its arms around in the air and bumped into my drawers. This is the only time I have ever had a dream like this. It was weird, and no one appreciates it. Its just a little secret experience I had.

My worst car wreak was with my cousin. He already was drinking when i met up with him and I shared my 4 40oz's with him.He wanted to go buy more up the road and I convinced him to let me drive. Its like 16km up the highway not including the 12km country road to get up the highway. On the way back we had the habit to open one up on the side of the road just off the highway. He made up his mind to drive.I could already tell he was pretty drunk and he was driving fast with a old car with no power steering.
At one point I tried to put on my seatbelt but it wouldn't work and I looked at the back seat and thought of buckling up there, but decided not too.Soon after there was this S turn. And right on the first turn I knew he was going to fast. The look on his face when he was trying to go into the turn said it all.His tire hit the sand on the side of the road and I knew we were screwed. He lost control and we rolled about 4 times on blasted jagged rocks on the other side.I only had the hand rest for support and everything went slow motion.Hit our heads together and I smashed the front windshield with mine. After the car stopped we checked if we were both ok.We were.I looked at the back seat. The whole back end was crushed.I would have died for sure.
