This thing came down the road that sounded like a popcorn machine and stopped. People got out messed around for 10 minutes then left.

We started barking to wake up my grandma and she drove down to get us.

I spend lots of time on the coast, I have seen the UFO orange / red orbs 5-6 times over the last 6-7 years. All sightings were random and in random locations but over or close to the ocean / inlet waters.
This last time was winter months off season and I had the thought to drive to the beach, walk out on the beach looking for the orbs. As I got to the top of the dunes I had the thought or wish that one would show up and at that very second one appeared, looked to be about 50 yards out and 100 yards in the air directly in front of me.
As strange as it sounds it was like it was reading my mind or something and appeared as soon as I had the thought for it to appear.
Something is very strange about these orbs.

In 1985 I was a lookout on the USS Simon Bolivar... On a return trip from patrol...

On the mid watch something appeared under our submarine.., 12 orbs or light... 10 foot in diameter perfectly placed like a clock... The Officer of the deck do you see that?

Yes sir I replied... What is it?... This my first patrol thought it was something subs passed over on return to port...

He called down to sonar and radar for any contacts...

He told me we didn't see anything and keep it to our selves...

They disappeared as fast as they appeared...

That was the officers last patrol... He left 2 years from retirement...

What was it?... A USO... I know it wasn't anything from a Nation on this earth...

I agree... Hit by lightning, the car jolted & I could feel heat on my face & saw only white light for many (5 or so) seconds & then everything went back to normal with no marks on my car.

I was driving North on the 5 fwy in Southern California in a small sports car. A large truck did not see me & turned into my lane. I did a sharp right turn & did a spin out stopping facing South. When I opened my eyes, all cars behind me were stopped in straight lines, not crooked or crashed, as if in a parking lot. All three lanes had people looking right at me. I started my car, did a U-Turn & kept driving with both arms fully shaking. Not one car was hit to include mine.

I credit my prayer to Jesus before I got on the freeway.

I can't believe I forgot this one.

I do a lot "tactical" type shit, and happen to own some rather cool shit that most people only see in movies, usually all wrong though.

One of them being high end NODs and Thermal.

Long story short, I was fucking around at night in the desert here in AZ watching the night sky.

If you think there are a lot of stars in your area at night, that aint nothing once you throw some NODs on!!!

So, I am scanning the sky, and I end up observing 3 objects, moving from north to south in the eastern part of the sky. If it were a single object, I could easily conclude that it was a satellite. These objects were that high and were moving in unison across the sky. I would NOT have seen them without the aid of NODs.

Good friend who was in the Coast Guard told me a few stories about UFO exiting and entering the ocean...

He also told me about a UFO hovering over a cloud above the Mobil Oil Refinery in Torrance.

He was a cool dude and always enjoyed talking with him.

I had a Christmas tree talk to me. It said come over here. I said hell no and bolted

I never give much thought to dreams as some people do. A dream is just a dream I always thought.
However, one night I had a dream that when I woke I had the thought "man that was the most real a dream that I had ever had...
My dream was I was riding in the passenger seat and my best friend was driving at night on a curvy mountain road. I could see the heavy snow in the headlights on a pitch black road and we were headed up. I then noticed my friend did not see the next curve as his head was turned looking at me. I had the thought he is going to kill us so I reached over and grabbed the wheel with one hand, turned the wheel and we made the turn and I woke from my dream. I remember I was a bit troubled as it was simply as if I had almost had a bad over the side wreck.

A few days later my buddy called me and informed me he had been on a business trip and he had rented a car and crossed the Rockies and he had about killed himself as he almost lost control of his car in a late night snow storm going around a curve on a rural 2 lane mountain road.

I can't explain it but I WAS in that car with my buddy.
I had never known him to travel that area and I had no idea he was out of town but something very strange happened that night. I don't even know how to put a label on such an experience as I would love to know more, research about my experience as it was more than just a dream.

I and another were north of Austin and en route to Dallas on I-35. It was at night then everything went pitch black, like an underground cave in the dark black for a few seconds. When illumination returned we saw two signs I-20 West and Welcome to Abiline. To this day we still have no explanation as to how we changed in location by about 160 miles and direction North to West.

OP should have posted a restriction on drug stories, don't know who to trust.

My life at times has been a cross between a Dickens novel with complex social happenings and dates and weird characters all coming together to form a plot. It's also been like a Kafka novel, a cool-headed, logical main character (me) surrounded by crazies.

While my stories are technically possible, they're so statistically unlikely that most people don't believe me or think I'm exaggerating or making a mountain out of a mole hill.

But they're very real and bizarre experiences. I never asked for this life. I see another side to people that others don't see or think possible. I envy them. I've seen too much.

Care to share a few things you have witnessed?

Driving on US 441 across the Smokey Mountains between Gatlinburg TN and Cherokee, NC late one night or early morning around 2am can not remember month but it was cooler but not winter, I know because I was in a convertible with top up and I kept it down at night when warm enough.

No traffic, road was deserted.

All of a sudden there was a super bright flash of white light that seemed to come from all around the car. It lasted a second or so. SO bright that I had to slow to a stop almost because I could not see the road for a bit. There was no sound at all. I wanted to pull off and stop to calm my nerves but was honestly scared to. There is nothing on that road or anywhere around from where the light could have came from. There is nothing but a narrow 2 lane winding road. I did not pass another car till I was almost back into civilization.

Absolutely, and I guarantee you nobody will believe me just like nobody has ever believed me! I’m almost 50 years old, and this particular thing happened when I was about 8 years old. My uncle took me to my grandmothers, and behind my grandmothers place was an old abandoned playground. I saw this little girl in a dress out there, and I told my uncle I wanted to go and slide on the slide. He was on the porch at my grandmothers so he could watch me while I was across the field at the playground. The slide was one of those extra high slides that was cemented into the ground – all aluminum, and hot from the sun beaming on it. Back in the day the slides were really tall! So I remember climbing up the back and the little girl was ahead of me. I remember she sat down at the very top of the slide and I could hear her legs sqeak as she went down the slide. I climbed up the rest of the ladder and looked down and she wasn’t there anymore. I looked all over and she was gone. I then ran back to my grandmothers house and asked my uncle where the little girl went. He replied… What little girl? I told him the little girl who was on the slide ahead of me. He said I didn’t see any little girl. I kept asking him about her, but he absolutely insisted she was never there.

So there you have it. She was there, and then she wasn’t. I know I didn’t imagine it. I even heard her. But nobody else saw her but me.

I went for a ride on my motorbike up into the ranges and followed a few obscure tracks (that only bikes could traverse) until I found a waterfall. I sat on the top of the falls for a while enjoying the scenery down into the valley when I noticed something in the corner of my eye.

There was two children and two adults on the far side of the falls about halfway down. They emerged from the bush silently and had not seen me. They discussed something for a moment or two although I could not hear their voices over the sound of the waters. A man, a woman (about 35yo) and a boy and a girl (young teens) were decked out in the Sunday best standing on a ledge about 120m above the bottom of the sheer waterfall.

Then they started out across the ledge which tapered away across the sheer rock wall. I watched gobsmacked, thinking that if I yell out (something like 'idiots') someone will loose their grip. I watched as the children (no ropes or equipment) edge their way out to the middle followed by the adults. They reached a point where it was impossible to continue as the ledge they were on disappeared into the rock face. They turned around and went back, then vanished into the bush. I waited for about an hour and never saw them again.

One time while sitting on the front porch of a rural home, the lawn in front of me looked like, or actually was, undulating about a foot in depth in a peaceful manner, not like an earthquake.

I wasn't doing any drugs or smoking pot. It's just what I saw whether it was a physical thing or a shift in perception, IDK. It felt like that's what the earth does all the time, except we don't notice it.

I did that too. Was with a huge group of people around me, for some reason at the age of three, I decided if I ran up some four steps on the stoop and jumped off I could float.

So I spent about 5-10 minutes trying it and suddenly it worked. I floated slowly down, and it was really neat. I immediately demanded everyone watch me (like 20 people) and then did my jump again, but didn't float.

I was so upset. I tried arguing and explaining that it wasn't working any more, tried again several times, but nobody believed me, and it didn't work again, so I gave up.

Not much to contribute here, Once I was on a journey from Oregon to Wichita, Kansas and went through the Southern Route.

Got tired and thought the Fuel Pump was malfunctioning somewhere in Texas. When I woke up everything was normal, yes it's not an exciting story.

Actually I thought there was some serious malfunction happening in Fuel system, however it was (( insert your favorite guardian angel or such )) made me pull over.

Yes I had a whole thread about this. When I was small my friends brother spent a whole day teaching us to fly down the stairs, it was a thing I could do for a while - or at least it seemed so.
