Usually just watched the opening bit and changed the channel after the opening theme song. At the time, I knew it would be in reruns forever like Mork and Mindy. Another show I never watched in its original run. Howard Hesseman kept popping up in different shows. One Day at a Time (which he was awful in) and Head of the Class (where he was even worse). Yeah, WKRP was probably the best show most of the actors on it ever got to be on. The guy who played the station owner went on to play the grandfather on Growing Pains. The show had an extremely low budget as most episodes used one set. It wasn't as funny as news radio. I liked the Herb character. He reminded me of a newspaper advertising salesman I knew in the early 80s. Hair, sport coats, accent, everything. |

Quoting: Cryptnotic , R.I.P. I used to love that show. First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win. ~ Mahatma Gandhi "Always, at every moment, there will be the thrill of victory, the sensation of trampling on an enemy who is helpless. If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face—forever." ~ George Orwell "The exact level of tyranny that you're going to live under, is the level of tyranny you put up with." ~Thomas Jefferson "All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent. ~ Thomas Jefferson |

Who didn't fall in love with the mousy one? If you are not busy weaving your own magick, you are trapped in anothers spell. “It’s time you realized that you have something in you more powerful and miraculous than the things that affect you and make you dance like a puppet.” – Marcus Aurelius |
