Jesus Christ is the only way to Salvation. 1 Corinthians 1611 AV KJ Bible Chapter 15 1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: |

What effect has doubting God’s love had on some? 5 Some faithful Christians in our time have been weakened spiritually by doubts. An elder named James says: “Even though I was serving at Bethel and was enjoying my ministry in a foreign-language congregation, I wondered if Jehovah was really accepting my sacrifices. At one point, I even questioned whether Jehovah was listening to my prayers.” Eva, who is also in full-time service, says: “I found that doubting Jehovah’s love is dangerous because doing so sends you into a downward spiral. This affects your appetite for spiritual things and undermines your joy in serving Jehovah.” Michael, a regular pioneer and an elder, says: “If you don’t believe that God cares for you, you will drift away from him.” |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80346741 We have a millennium And it's ending not upcoming This is a preview of the 1,000 year reign of Christ, after he terminates Satan's reign of terror; And he will find delight in the fear of Jehovah. He will not judge by what appears to his eyes, Nor reprove simply according to what his ears hear. 4He will judge the lowly with fairness, And with uprightness he will give reproof in behalf of the meek ones of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth And put the wicked to death with the breath of his lips. 5Righteousness will be the belt around his waist, And faithfulness the belt of his hips. 6The wolf will reside for a while with the lamb, And with the young goat the leopard will lie down, And the calf and the lion and the fattened animal will all be together; And a little boy will lead them. 7The cow and the bear will feed together, And their young will lie down together. The lion will eat straw like the bull. 8The nursing child will play over the lair of a cobra, And a weaned child will put his hand over the den of a poisonous snake. 9They will not cause any harm Or any ruin in all my holy mountain, Because the earth will certainly be filled with the knowledge of Jehovah As the waters cover the sea. What must we do when doubts about God’s love enter our mind? 6 These experiences illustrate just how spiritually harmful negative thinking can be. But what should we do when doubts about God’s love find their way into our mind? We must immediately reject them! Ask Jehovah to help you replace those “disquieting thoughts” with ‘the peace of God that will guard your heart and your mental powers.’ (Ps. 139:23; ftn.; Phil. 4:6, 7) And remember, you are not alone. Other faithful brothers and sisters are struggling with negative feelings. Even servants of Jehovah in the past had to deal with such challenges. Consider what we can learn from the example of the apostle Paul. |

WHAT WE LEARN FROM PAUL’S EXPERIENCE 7. What problems did Paul face? 7 Do you sometimes feel weighed down by many responsibilities, unable to cope with them all? If so, you would understand Paul. He felt anxiety, not just for one congregation but “for all the congregations.” (2 Cor. 11:23-28) Do chronic health problems often rob you of your joy? Paul was afflicted by a persistent “thorn in the flesh,” which may have been a physical ailment, and he was desperate to be rid of it. (2 Cor. 12:7-10) Are you discouraged by your own imperfections? So was Paul at times. He called himself a “miserable man” because of his relentless battle with his own imperfections.—Rom. 7:21-24. |

These are two different groups, the first group gathered are to become shepherds in the new earth era. The 2nd group to be gathered will become the flock in the new earth era. The shepherds will live in New Jerusalem and the flock will come to them for a variety of reasons. The shepherds are not given in marriage so there are no children born to them. The flock live outside the City, they are given in marriage, the size of the flock increases by 100 children per couple. Re:7 covers the 144,000, they represent the group alive for the 1,000 years. The 2nd group have been to hell as that is great tribulation so they belong to the GWT resurrection. Combined they are Adam and Eve and all their children so that is who is 'God's people' when the whole Bible is referenced. Re:20:4: And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Re:20:5: But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. The saints in the verse above are the Gentile Church, they and the 12 Tribes will be in Jerusalem below as that is New Jerusalem that is being referenced, the flock will be scattered all across the universe. Isa:65:16-19: That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes. For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying. DOUBTING JEHOVAH’S LOVE IS DANGEROUS Quoting: DGN 4. The 'worst' that can happen to a person is they are part of the flock rather than the shepherds. Since the flock ends up following the shepherds the flock would include anybody who has had a 'pet' as they will choose to be with them to make sure they are 'safe' before they are 'left behind'. But I tell you this, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit God’s Kingdom, nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 51Look! I tell you a sacred secret: We will not all fall asleep in death, but we will all be changed, 52in a moment, in the blink of an eye, during the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised up incorruptible, and we will be changed. 53For this which is corruptible must put on incorruption, and this which is mortal must put on immortality. 54But when this which is corruptible puts on incorruption and this which is mortal puts on immortality, then the saying that is written will take place: “Death is swallowed up forever.” 55“Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting?” |
